It is a windows based package written in the .NET environment that takes full advantage of today’s computing power and software advancements. It is based upon principals that have been developed, tested and verified within the company group during the last  40-year period within a rigorous research and development program. The result is an innovative, fast and reliable product that provides the user with an easy to use modelling environment with easily accessible results.

VariSim^TM has a very impressive capability, which can be used for detailed steady state and transient hydraulic studies. As a PC based design and planning tool, it is ideal for studying the complexities of pipeline hydraulic reaction and surge effects. It provides the user with the ability to fine tune any equipment parameter, any control system parameter and to size surge suppression equipment. VariSim^TM has been designed to ensure that it accurately models any component of a system that can affect the hydraulic reaction of a pipeline. This means, liquid or gas, small plant pipe work, long transmission lines, variable flow regimes, telemetry effects, suppression equipment, air valves, control logic etc. can all be modelled.
